Description: Kunst og Industriudstillingen i Stockholm 1897. The Industrial Art Exhibition in Stockholm 1897. Designed by Miss Hegermann. We were told, that the figure in the middle is Erik Jedvardsson Bonde (1120-1160), known as Erik (IX) den hellige (1156-1160) or S:t Erik and who is the patron of Stockholm and, in fact, Sweden herself and adorns the Stockholm coat of arms even today. There is an identical townplate by B&G from 1897 with S:t Erik, surrounded by the text 'Holmiae Insignia Civitatis' (Coat of Arms of Stockholm). Read more in Swedish:
